Towards the end of last year two enthusiasts of all things British, Steve Williams and Alan Cumbers, put their belief in themselves and British goods to the test and formed a company especially to promote the fantastic range of produce and products available throughout Britain today.

The standardized, homogenized produce of the multinationals is in every supermarket, and in most small shops as well. But where can you go for a jar of Quince jelly, a truly hand-crafted piece of jewellery, or quality bottle-conditioned real ale? Well, there's no need to go anywhere, you've arrived! We at BritShopS place particular emphasis on small, traditional 'cottage industry' producers who provide real home-made and hand-crafted goods. Not only are these products of excellent quality, they are also truly different.

In August 2006 starting with just one supplier, Cegin Pennant, who provide us with a variety of jams, chutneys, traditional Welsh Bara Brith and other baked goods, BritShopS Ltd has gone from strength to strength. Since that low key launch, BritShopS has been overwhelmed with the response from both the buying public and new suppliers, and we now offer a wide range of products including real ales from the Breconshire Brewery, fruit juices from Brogdale (an arm of the National Fruit Collection) and organic apple juices from Moor Organic, together with hand-produced Celtic-inspired jewellery from Rhiannon in Wales.

More recently, BritShopS has introduced a bespoke jeweller, Flawless Jewellery, onto the website and we are very proud to announce that, in conjunction with Flawless, we have a BritShopS Exclusive range of sapphire and diamond pendants. These beautiful pendants are available only through the BritShopS website.

Most recently we have added Classic Preserves, with their extensive range of award winning jams, preserves, chutneys and marmalades, and Mead Farm Cakes with their award winning fruit and loaf cakes.
