Classic Preserves produce outstanding handmade sweet and savoury products in 'The Garden of England'. Bursting with flavour from whole Kent fruit and a minimum of cane sugar, their products contain NO artificial colours, additives or preservatives, are suitable for vegetarians & vegans, and are gluten free.

Specialising in single variety fruits, Classic Preserves seek out rare and 'heritage' varieties and, where possible, use fruit from local farmers. Their full flavoured recipes have no need for artificial colours, additives or preservatives, just a high fruit content and the minimum of sugar.

In June 2002 the business moved into a new kitchen unit at Brogdale Horticultural Trust, the home of the 'National Fruit Collection' in Faversham, Kent. The kitchen overlooks the orchards, the source of much of their ingredients.

Classic Preserves won the Kent Life Best Food Producer of the Year Award in 2004 and 2005 and the Technology Enterprises Kent Innovation Award in 2004.
